It's not unthinkable that Apple is ready to roll out its next gen of wearables, but given that these changes are so slight, there's a good chance that Apple might not release the new models as part of a fifth generation, but rather just as new options in the existing product line. Changes, while muted, will also include new WatchOS 6 software plus two new metallic models in ceramic and titanium.

Rumor has it that the Apple Watch will be getting an upgrade with new design and a bigger screen. Thankfully, low light photos will also be improved.Īlso in typical fashion, Apple is expected to reveal a feature that some Samsung phones already have: a wireless charging system that will allow you to power your AirPods on the back of your iPhone. Simultaneously, the three sensors will each capture their own photos and a new artificial intelligence-based system will correct the combined photo if, say, you don't appear in the third photo for some reason. The third camera will also allow users to zoom out and capture a larger frame in their photos. The new Pro iPhones will reportedly have a new camera system on the back, complete with a third sensor meant to capture super-wide angle photos and videos. If history serves as a template, we'll be getting the next generation. Not only that, but since 2017, Apple has released three new phones at its September events. It's a pretty safe bet that this rumor from Ars Technica is true, given thats most of the tech websites, Bloomberg included, seem to agree on it. The "Pro" iPhone models will succeed the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and there will be an additional new phone to replace the iPhone XR.
